This course should enable students to understand the basic principle, basic methods and basic skills of pattern making for women’s wear, and to grasp basic pattern design methods of ladies’ wear (including bodice, sleeve, skirt, collar) and pattern design method of darts variations,。

This course focuses on the basic principles, basic methods, basic skills and practice in process of teaching, and emphasize the development of practical ability of students.Through the study of this course ,students will be able to apply the basic principle and basic method to make patterns of relatively simple garment styles independently, innovatively and accurately.
